Loyd Ford began his direct marketing career long before he worked for Americalist. That's because Loyd spent 17 years programming radio stations in highly competitive markets and experienced the many demands program directors face every day. These demands led Loyd to experience direct marketing with every imaginable direct marketing company that serves radio (some of whom no longer exist or are now owned by other broadcast companies). So, he knows from experience how each of these companies operate and perform. As a program director, Loyd has been part of putting together intense winning stealth campaigns that hit the competition hard and deliver higher ratings for years....as a PD and Ops Manager.
As the strategist for your campaigns and the Radio Division Manager of Americalist Media Marketing, Loyd uses his local hands-on experience to help shape custom strategy that delivers results for our clients.
Loyd's background is programming primarily country and adult contemporary formats in head-to-head battles and, as operations manager, overseeing almost all formats. In his 17 years programming, he programmed radio stations including dominant ratings success with stations like KRMD AM & FM, WMYI-FM, WBEE-FM, WSSL AM & FM.
While Loyd has worked for corporate radio, he is not someone who sat above the day-to-day. Loyd worked as a local on-the-ground programmer. He went out of his way to seek intense battles where he could increase his knowledge about the essential elements of changing perception, improving programming and marketing in the most effective ways to win.
